A neat and tidy appearance fitting to a championship course is required at all times for the golf course, driving range and practice facilities. Smart casual is the minimum dress requirement for entry to the Clubhouse and collared shirts must be worn in the Members Bar at all times.
Members and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the R&A Rules of Golf. As such, all players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be.
Etiquette is an integral part of the game and is about showing respect for the course and the work that has been put in to create it. It is about making sure that the game is played safely and that others on the course are able to enjoy the round as much as you.
All players are encouraged to assist with taking care of the courses. All players should be aware of the following:
Do not park bags and buggies on greens
Repair all pitch marks on greens
Repair divot marks by filling them with sand and levelling the surface
Sand buckets are compulsory
Do not walk up the face of the bunkers
Carefully rake all marks made in a bunker and leave the rake in the centre, with the handle pointing back to the tee box
Ensure that these general conditions of play are observed
