Sandhurst Community Can Drive

The Sandhurst Community Group Fund will again be collecting non-perishable food and grocery items to help those in need during the Christmas season.

All donations will be sorted into hampers and given to Community Support Frankston who provide services including emergency food for people who live or work in the City of Frankston.

This is an opportunity for members to help disadvantaged people in our community. A crate will be placed in the clubhouse reception area from early November to mid December where items can be dropped off.

Members are welcome to bring non-perishable and non-date expired food and personal care items. Suitable products include:

  • Peanut butter, Vegemite and Nutella<\li>
  • Tinned ham or tuna in brine
  • Long life Kraft cheddar cheese blocks
  • Small boxes of Weetbix, fruit juice
  • Small tins or tubs of fruit
  • Two minute noodles
  • Disposable nappies
