Sandhurst Real Estate recently hosted a “World’s Biggest Morning Tea” at the Club. We sat down with company director Kim Ward to find out a little bit more about how the event went and how Sandhurst Real Estate can help you with your real estate needs.
How many years has Sandhurst Real Estate been running their Biggest Morning Tea event? How many people attended this year’s event?
This year was our 6th year running the event. Just under 200 people attended.
How much did you raise this year? What were some of the highest bidding items?
We raised $10,000. The prizes were mainly drawn as raffles with overseas trips and luggage being some of the of the bigger items.
What’s their target for next year?
We would like to achieve $15,000 next year.
Are Sandhurst Real Estate involved in any other community events?
SRRE has been an integral part of the community since 2001. SRRE has previously sponsored the Mens and Ladies pennant golf teams, sponsor the Ladies Christmas Dinner, support various residents with fundraising initiatives and are a major sponsor of the Sandhurst club each year.
It feels like Sandhurst Real Estate is a great community estate agent. When was Sandhurst Real Estate formed?
SRRE was formed in 2001 when we began selling land off the plan from a portable building. The site of the building is now Waterside Circuit.
With the spring selling season just around the corner what are some tips for getting your house ready for market? And how many properties did you help Sandhurst Residents sell last year?
De-clutter, make first impressions count. Ensure the property is clean and tidy, fresh and welcoming. SRRE sold 48 properties in 2018
