The 25 meter long pool is heated, making it the perfect temperature for year round use. The pool is a quiet environment perfect for you relax and unwind.
Lessons for all
Classes are available for adults who want to learn to swim as well as those wishing to improve their stroke. Class sizes are small, allowing each student to receive individual attention. $25 per lesson (30-minute sessions). Members receive a 10% discount.
Junior Swimming
Learning to swim is a childhood milestone, an essential life skill that not only opens the door to a lifetime of water fun but may also save a life.
Sandhurst Club offers swimming through our Swim School which is run by qualified and registered Austswim instructors. Lessons focus on developing children’s stroke technique and water safety awareness in a safe and fun environment. Class sizes are small, allowing each student to receive individual attention. Swimming abilities are assessed by Swim School instructors and children are placed in the appropriate level based on their abilities.
Suitable for 6 months old and upwards. Private and group lessons run Monday to Saturday.
Aqua Classes
Aqua Aerobics
Simply add water to your fitness regime and gain physical and social benefits while having fun. Regardless of your level of fitness level, Sandhurst aqua classes include the opportunity to exercise at a pace that suits you. If you like music and moving then give it a try and allow the resistance of water to help strengthen your muscles and improve your cardio fitness in an enjoyable and inclusive environment. HydroFunctional
JointFit is a 40min class held in the pool for active people interested in regaining fitness and wellness back into their lifestyle.
If you experience leg weakness, arthritis or if joint pain is an issue, then join us for this structured class with a focus on functional movements we use everyday. The exercises have been researched to increase power to your legs, build control, flexibility and balance as well as increase core and cardiovascular fitness all done in an enjoyable setting exercising at your own pace.
